Hey, a newb question.

my viv temp was 20 at night, but he was cold to the touch in the morning and didnt want to eat . are they slow in the morning?

also had him for about 24 hours now eaten 9 crickets a few bits of spring greens, and still hasnt poo'd.

im i just worried cause he was kept on woodchip as a baby in the shop.

any thoughts?

Cheers
Jordan

Hi there,

All seems pretty normal to me, at night without the lighting/heating they will cool right down to go to sleep and will gradually warm up in the morning! Wouldn't worry about pooing yet, mine goes about once a week at the most, sometimes 2 weeks!

Keep offering veg and eventually it'll get eaten! How old is he? if he's young (i.e. less than 6 months) offer live food 2/3 times a day and keep veg topped up all the time (if he dont want it he wont eat it)

I'm not the expert but from all the post's/time on here he seems ok! Also you got rid of the wood chip right?

Just home from work and he laid a big log down. almost the same size as him lol

so he is ok, thanks for putting my mind at ease.

he is about 3 months i think, and yeah no woodchip. when he gets bigger i will change him to play sand, see how he likes it. what do you use?
