A single mating will produce up to 5 clutches of eggs, so if she's been mated this year then I would have expected two or three additional clutches already. Personally given the current excess of dragons on the market I'd not be considering breeding unless you have a very good example of one of the scarcer colours. If however you do intend to try again then your female is a very good weight and shouldn't have any problems with a clutch, do remember that you will be hatching and raising the next clutch mid-winter which will increase costs for heating etc.

Health wise it would be OK, it's then up to you as to whether you feel it ethical given the number of beardies available for re-homing because people have lost interest/don't know how to keep them properly.

Ps. Can you resize your sig. photo it does take up a little space

OK so really we're talking tropical seasons not UK spring summer autumn winter type seasons. I was having trouble with her last clutch being what appeared to be early spring!

How do you cope with the humidity in the wet season? It can be a killer with dragons, even in the top end of Queensland owners have trouble with respiratory infections caused by high humidity.
