Happy days, finally. Came home this evening and found eggs scattered all over the viv. So much the digging tray!!!

So i've counted 13 in total as she laid one a few days ago. I'm kinda guessing as a first time clutch and being infertile this should be about the right ammount!
She is sitting on her cool end platform looking as usual like lady muck but with a little yellow slobber round her mouth so im assuming she has eaten an egg! She hasnt eaten for a few days so doubt very much its vomit and i know in some species of animals its usual for them to eat an egg or a couple of offsrping to maintain themselves after fasting for so long!

So these are the eggs, all horrible yellow and sunken because they are infertile. I have left her to it so if there are anymore she can have them in peace. Her vet appointment is the 28th so all is good in the Wright/ Graves household ... especially as my little snake strike fed last night and hasnt regurgitated this time. Happy days :D

That's a bit of good news then - hopefully she'll stop driving you mad with all that scratching!

Bet she'll be hungry now - don't forget to spoil her and make sure she's getting her calcium supplement to build her strength back up!

Hungry? She ate a dubia cockroach and she is normally scared of them, lol. Absolutely covered in calcium, and the meal worms (its all i had in) i will now be obsessed with getting her back to normal and fighting fit. She looks 'drained' bless her but nothing i cant sort out :D

Thanks all, yes im so relieved and just right chuffed with her for being so good .... im sure i wasnt saying that the other day was i? LOL

I'm going to give her a good clean out this weekend and smarten her viv up. She seems to have totally trashed it so im looking forward to that and giving her a bath and perhaps if its still lovely outside i will take her out for five minutes to get some fresh air and sunshine :)

A bath???? Oh, sorry, forgot! The great unemployed in Aus run round giving all their wild post gravid beardies a bath - as I'm sure Rick will confirm!

Well im not sure about who does what in Aus but in Denham a certain employed man does run round and give his beardie a bath ....... but not very often. Once when i first got her before realising she didnt need it and once after brumation although im sure she had been drinking every couple of weeks!

Now this is where Trish has made a slight error in judgement!
Ant, you're not actually going to give her a bath, you will in fact be providing "theraputic hydration" required due to loss of fluids during the stress of egg laying  This of course is perfectly acceptable even though not readily available in the wild

Okay - so that told me!   Now if Ant had said 'theraputic hydration' in the first place I wouldn't have worried!

I would have said that but i couldnt spell it so just put bath

She worried me last night, very quiet and lethargic, sleepy ... for the life of me i couldnt get her temps right after cleaning her out, not sure why, nothing had changed!

Anyway after a good nights sleep and a big bowl of fresh veg today she is looking perkier and back to her normal self. I love my girly  :)
