You will be keeping them until they're around 8 weeks old before letting them go I hope!

Difficult to tell who's shed and who hasn't when you've got a lot of babies - size and age is better to go on. Unless they are a good size and weight - 7 to 8 inches in length they won't have built up enough reserves to last through the settling in period with their new owner.

Aim to start selling them at no less than six weeks, then you know you've given them the best start. It is very expensive breeding beardies responsibly, which is why we give the advice on this forum not too unless you can afford it to do it properly!

We handled our babies a lot too, so that they were quite happy to be held by prospective buyers - they settled into their new homes quicker too.
