On Wednesday, I replaced Daisy's UV tube - as the other one was 12 months old. I took out an Exo-Terra Reptile-Glo 10.0 and replaced it within Arcadia T8 12% Reptile Lamp.

Since I've done this, Daisy has been acting strange. She's climbing all over the viv, hanging off the tube, pulling at it and then hiding from it. Then 10 minutes later shes happily basking. Is this to do the with change in strength of UV ? Will she settle down and get used to it or will I need to get another tube ? She's very pale in colour but I can't see any stress marks on her belly. She's also coming out of being gravid so this may be adding to her issues !

Thanks

Mine used to do that but mine was a T5 12%. Very thin ; now I have a T5 12% Arcadia luminaire that goes at the front above were the glass doors are so you don't get the glare plus its all encased and just one wire, reflectors fitted on. Therru acted strange with that but now doesn't bother and basks most of the time . Im sure your Beardie will settle down :)

Just the difference in light intensity. She'll settle down.
