We have just finished setting up the new viv and have a temp of 46 degrees Celsius in the hot side and 30 in the cool side, is this ok? Also where is the best place to put the thermometer censors (where the beardie is likely to bask, on the ground etc) really would appreciate some help as this will be our first time and want to get everything right before we bring him home :-) thanks.

Temps are to high - they should be about 39~42C on the basking spot and mid 20's at the cool side.Thermometers should read temps at about head height (if possible) at the basking spot and again around 10 cm from the end of the cool side.
