Hi I'm new here just got my bearded dragons few days ago and wanted to put some more things in the viv for them to climb about on.

I was wondering can I put rear tree inside?? I just chopped my Christmas tree up and have a big main stump from the bottom with the thicker branches which I thought would be cool for them to climb on.

Once all the small branches and leaf parts are removed would it be ok to put in?

Read on a page to put real trees in oven for few hours to kill of the toxins or something but thought best check as don't want to harm them.

Thanks

Don't think I'd us pine, you'll never get rid of the sap. Fruit wood such as apple or hardwoods like oak are ideal so if you've got some (public?) woodland nearby take a stroll through that and see what you can find. Best is something that has seasoned itself, just debark, toast for 10~15 min. in oven to kill any odd bugs and you're done.
