It dawned on me I've not logged in for ages. I've been mega busy and Reuben is behaving himself. Any who I thought it was about time I uploaded some photo's.
He is now 358 grams and 45cms so has been growing healthily (I think).

Hello again everyone, enjoy...

Today on his scales.

He loves his basking spot, the other 8 square foot seems wasted...

"Dad! My head's stuck!!!" (It actually was)

He loves swimming in our kitchen sink. Head under water, legs tucked in, swimming with body and tail. For a desert animal he's a natural. Archimedes (bless him) never swam like this so I was very excited when Reuben went for it. :-)

I can't believe it but after gradual introduction and careful supervision our cat Beau and Reuben can cohabit safely (still with supervision)

Beau walks up to Reuben and rubs her head against his! I know she's really marking him as her territory but it's cute none the less.

I was amazed at Therru and my Cat Tara ; today in the garden Tara walked right up to Therru and they were nose to nose and then Tara walked away (Tara is half main coon and can be nasty at times) :) I would never leave them alone together :)

Tara sounds like a beauty. Beau's done the same, but then got very wide eyed when Rueberoo was skuttling round on our laminate flooring (funny enough in itself) she made me very nervous as she was very nearly in hunt mode!
I think she knows that she's not supposed to hurt him...whether that would stop her or not we'll never know, I'm too protective.

Reuben is currently about 36/37cms and at the last weigh in is now 416 grams, so he's put on 58 grams since that post in June.
I think he's about his full adult size now but he's currently preparing for a major body shed after he's just been shedding around his mouth. Grumpy dragon. His head does seem to be growing still.

Yes, I used 3 sheets of the 60x60cm background in total but one was cut up to fit. I could have saved some money and bought a 60x30cm in hindsight, but they weren't dear.
They are holding up ok but have sustained some battle damage, I think where Reuben's been trying to rub of skin shed from his snout.
I'd advise anyone wanting to use this type of background to put some rock in for about 5cm around the base to make it really last. I've just covered the damage with a rock.
