Post subject:  Tank temp not getting hot enough

Hi I'm looking for some help I have had my beardy for a few months now his tank used to be around 42 degrees in the hot area and about 27 in the cool area. I have noticed since I changed the bulb (same make and watt) that it's not heating up the same. It's now only 35 degrees in the hot and 23 in the cool. He is also really quiet and not wanting to come out much or not very active. He used to be up at the glass trying to get out but he has stopped doing this. Could it be the cold? He is eating well but his poop seems rather runny I don't know what else I can do how can I get it hotter

Thanks xx

Can you lift the basking spot a little? That will increase the temp, failing that maybe a higher wattage spotlight should fix things.

Can you lower the bulb through the hole a little? I'm not familiar with that type of viv (not sold here). Otherwise the only thing is as I suggested at first put a basking rock in that gets him a little higher.
34C won't hurt him it just slows him down a little.
