Right so I've done a lot of research into beardies and have decided for different factors I want to rehome one rather than getting a baby. What sort of age will be best for me do you think? Basically, I'm at work 7am-3pm most days some days later some days earlier (so thought against baby due to the Amount of times it's gonna need feeding and im potentially not going to be at home enough). Also, this is my first beardie so thought maybe an older more established and tame beardie would be better. plus I like the thought that I'll be Rehoming a potentially 'unwanted' beardie. '

What are your thoughts?
Thanks in advance

Hi and welcome,

Re-homing is a great idea and with the hours you work a dragon from around 12 months old would be best as you'll avoid any need for multiple daily feeds. Try and get a bit of background on any you look at so you don't end up taking on a problem health wise. You need to look for a bright eyed, fairly lively (these guys are pretty lazy on a good day) dragon and plump around the base of the tail where they store their fat reserves.

Hope this helps

Rick
