If you go to the reptile part and ask for Gavin he is really good, gave almost the same advice as on here , the prices are expensive for the equitment but i got my stones and slabs from here which were a good price.

We used to go to Swallows in Rayleigh - now go to Swallows near Colchester as its a little bit cheaper. You must be quite near us? We're in Maldon!

scales and tails in leicester have been very helpfull, very informative and friendly and i like the fact he wont let me take beardie home until viv has been set up for min 24hrs and all temps settled and ok. He treats all his reptiles as his own (Well they are!) Very clean and well priced.

Just wanted to add for Folk new to Bearded Dragons ; please don't go for tiny babies even though they look so cute :) Look on Bearded Dragon Rescue sites and also Pre-loved and Gum tree  You can still get a young Dragon and they will be used to being handled ; stronger healthwise and mostly on greens so cheaper food wise; than a baby :) just have a look on them sites as you can get your whole set quite cheap, and better 'set' up than some ' Pet shops complete set up' :) :)

If you want to rescue a Beardie and live in Essex try the below, they are a wildlife rescue facility but get lots of snakes and beardies (had about 10 when we went) its on the a128 at the a13 end of that road.

For anyone in the Oxford area, I stumbled across this shop recently. It was amazing. Snakes, Beardies, Rankins, Chameleons, Geckos, Dwarf Monitors plus others I've never seen before.

I think they have pet creepy crawlies too, as well as live food including dubia roaches.

Highly recommended.
