Okay, a new photo competition - just for fun and for the pleasure of winning! (i.e. no prize except the admiration of your fellow forum members)

Take a pic of your beardie which shows that it is SUMMER! Be as inventive as you like - props and/or photoshopping very much allowed!

Competition will close at the end of August to allow everyone time to post up their best shots. Oh yeah, you can enter as many times as you like!

Have fun!

All this and I've left my bucket and spade at home.

Seeing as I can't take any summer shots, I've used a winter photo for you all 8)
The beach got crowded later and once there were 6 others on it we left!!!

Image

Sunbathing - do not disturb

This is what happens when you feed your beardie properly but give him too many baths

Rick

Nice pics Rick, like the subtle hint
Do you get beardies by the coast or are they all inland?

The guys you see are Centrals and they're only seen inland of the mountain range that stretches down the east coast. Eastern (Barbata) do get out as far as the coast.

If you've got Google Earth then type (or cut and paste) these co-ordinates into the Fly To box

16 04'24.91"S 145 28'04.10"E

That should put you right above the beach the photo was taken on, looking down the beach to the right hand corner of your screen. Photo taken late May '05 so early winter.

Enjoy 8)

Rick

We actually avoid beaches when on holiday (children prefer rock pools and crabbing), apart from last year in New Zealand of course  :D
