I would just like to say, that being new to the world of BD`s, I am so glad I came across this site.

I have been trawling through posts old and new , and the information I have gleened is fantastic.

People have been friendly and welcoming and gave me good advice to all my "newbie" questions. Its great when people can share their experience and knowledge with people like myself without making u feel like a dummie.. :)

Thanks for the site.

Lindy..x

Thanks for the kind words. I too found everyone to be very kind, friendly and of great help when I first came on here, new to beardies. It's a very good site. I'm glad you're happy here and don't ever be afraid to ask anything you like....no question is looked upon as silly. We all have to learn and what better way than ask those who know? Hope Pugsley is settling in really well. I'm sure by now you feel much more confident about your 'beardie' skills too!! 8)

Hi Angela,

In such a short time I have become more confident yes. I can even pick up the hoppers by hand.. :D and the worms!
Pugsley is settling in well. She`s started eating every day. Trying to get her to take 2 feeds per day since she`s a bit behind in weight due to the fact she wasn`t eating well in her previous home - no joy on that yet..still 1 feed of 3-4 hoppers..hoping that improves.
Im sure as time goes on, my knowledge will expand ...with a little help from my friends... :D

Thank you for your very kind comments about the site!

I have to give a great thank you to the Moderators and Experts who give a lot of their time absolutely free to help out on the forum (sometimes I think they do nothing else all day! )

It's also down to all the lovely members we have - everyone always wants to help everyone else out.

Unlike some forums we don't think any questions are silly - at the end of the day it's much better to help people to look after these lovely creatures properly than make new owners feel stupid!

So, thanks all round!

Hear hear! I am so grateful I found this forum before we bought our beardie, and I definitely value it since we brought him home. Books are all very well but there's nothing better than getting advice from real people.
Btw have you noticed that he is now "our" Beardie and not my son's! Funny how life changes once you get one of these wonderful creatures
