Just been sent some pics of two of Michael's baby beardies - thought I'd share this one of you as I think they look quite striking!

I think they are six months - but they could only be five months! Can't remember which clutch they were from now. They've grown really well though, haven't they? Apparently they are very spoilt!

He's 5 months. Weighed him today he has put 28g on in 1 week not bad as he weighed 28g when he was 10 weeks old on the 9th March.
They grow very fast and have growth spurts. Normally 2 boxes of crix last us a week and a bit, this week 2 boxes of crix have lasted 6 days :!: :!:

I didn't realise they were that big at only 5 months , he looks massive , unless its the pictures making him look bigger

Maybe its the pictures as well, he still seems small compared to Shrek and Fi. He was 14inches long last week and still growing thats why its important to have the viv 2foot wide so they have room to move about.

Hi Just to let you all know that Peaches and Izzy are five months old and a spoilt pair of girls, they change colour all the time depends what mood they are in. Can anyone help with a question a friend of mine said she read that dragons like to swim, not seen that myself but a friend has to smaller lizards and they love a container of water to splash about in

It really all depends on the beardie. Some act more like water dragons rather than bearded dragons! Some hate the water.

Hi Diane - lovely to see you on here!

Beardies come from the desert, so baths are really not necessary for them except if they are very dirty, if they are constipated (which gives you an idea of what to expect if you put them in a nice warm bath!) or if they are having difficulty shedding. It isn't natural - Shrek and Fi wouldn't get bathed at all, except Michael sometimes does it when I'm out!

But there isn't any harm in it, and some, as Manda said, do seem to like a swim. Others absolutely hate it.

It really is up to you whether you want to try it or not - but there is no reason why you should (if that makes sense?)

Maybe just put a large container of water in their viv and see what happens. Bob loves splashing about in his viv but not in the bath
