Hi again

Well he's eaten 12 crickets am, 6 midday and 5 this evening and pooped. 3 crickets hopping round my daughters bedroom somewhere - tricky little wotsits aren't they! Not too sure if he's eaten any veg or not tbh. He seems more lively in morning and evening but is scampering about and basking, temp about 105 -108. He spent a fair amount of the day in foilage at cool end, temps been about 80-85 - is that OK?? I have wasted a huge amount of my day watching him with girls and now my youngest think she'd prefer a beardie to a hamster  Luckily I need to redo her bedroom after xmas so can allow for another viv :D

Is that bamboo root you've got? Looks like he's really liking that! They love climbing in plants when they are young. He sounds like he has settled really well!

Ah Umm not being up on these things (I had an iguana many many years ago) that could well be bamboo root, pulled it out of a big box of wood type stuff in reptile shop!! He does indeed like climbing up and sitting at the top and he doesn't seem bothered by little hands having a sneaky stroke of him when my backs turned

As long as he's eating then he isn't being stressed out by him. Little strokes will help him get used to the girls so he'll be easier to handle.

His Mum, Dad and brother were always pretty placid and laid back.

It sounds like he's already part of the family!
