Can I ask, once they have eaten all their veg is that it, or do you refill the veg bowls?

My sons bearded dragon, Frodo, adores her veg. She has always eaten it all, plus her crickets by lunch time. Then spends the rest of the day going up to her food bowl looking for more. I have refilled with veg before, but the next day her poo's are very fluid.

She is roughly 6 months old, and weighs about 150 grams. Always had a steady weight gain.

Should I be refilling her veg bowl? Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

How much (in teaspoon measures) are you feeding and how many crix per day? Weight is good so food quantity sounds OK.

Frodo eats on average 20 crickets a day and maybe around 10 - 15 teaspoons of veg. When she has had a big shed, then I also give her a few calci worms as well.

I feel awful when she is looking for more food, especially veg as I know that as she gets older her diet will consist of more veg than live food. But just don't want her to over do it.

I think I'd keep it at that level. Any more veg and you've seen the results and generally over feeding increases size too rapidly which stresses the body as it develops. As long as she's showing a good steady weight gain keep on as you are.
