This is my friends leopard ghecko , i know its not a beardie but results are the same.

She posted this picture of her ghecko after the crickets she had left in his teranium ate him for dinner, poor little thing.

After being told off by a few people she stated she always left crickets in the tank and this had never happened before, well it has now.

Crickets will do exactly the same thing to your dragon if left in the viv with him or her.

Here's an illustration of the damage they can cause to a dragon.

If only I could convince the other half to not be absolutely fobic of roaches...

Poor Gecko, fingers crossed for a speedy recovery. Glad I read up and never left bugs in over night.

I HATE crickets, i dont use them as live food anymore, when i did use them i never left them in overnight though, i was always told never to leave them in, and now i can see why.

Unfortunatly it is one of those things you tend to not really believe unless it happens to you or someone you know.

But i personally would never forgive myself if this happened to one of my girls.

The ghecko seems to be ok but the pain must be un bearable , has not even taken him to the vet poor little guy .
