I normally cut them back to one feed daily around 6 months and around 12~18 months reduce to one every 2~3 days. Veg is still provided daily .

hi my beardie is a year old friday and weighs 330g everyone says he is small for his age but i do know that a lot of uk beadies are over weight. he puts on weight each week so im not worried to be honest. he has mainly locus and morio worms once a week. when i do change feeding how much do i give him. do i say he normally has 6 large locus a day and times that by how many days with out live food or do i give as though just normal eg 6 locus. hope all this makes sense thankyou for reading.

If he's gaining steadily then don't worry about what others say. My guys vary from around 400 gm up to 520 gm so he's quite OK. As for feeding - if he has six locusts daily then it's still six locusts but only every other day. This will slow his growth rate but won't starve him. In the wild he'd be lucky to get that amount of food with any regularity at all.
