Have put the crumbs from the bottom of the packets in with their roach chow I made.

They seem to like it. Have read somewhere they like corn flakes as well. Only got frosties here. Don't want to give them a sugar rush!

They really like grapes as well. Had a few that were just going soft so cut them in half and put them in. They were gone by morning.

Had a few of those jelly things my mum picked up for me from somewhere. So I put a bit in for the hoppers and some in between the 3 roach tubs I have got.

The hoppers just walked through it on their way to their lettuce and cabbage leaves.

The roaches seem to love it. It has made them very active. They are all running around doing whatever roaches do but all 3 tubs are very noisy.

Will see if I get any baby roaches soon!

Yea, they pretty much eat anything don't they :lol: .

It will take time for the colony to become established. So don't get disheartened if its a slow process. But its worth it.

Have had a few tubs of medium roaches, not knowing how big they would be, as feeders. Obviously too big for my babies. So I put these in a large cricket keeper with some egg flats and put them on the big heat mat next to the the main colony. Too see what I would get. Have left them alone and just put food and water gel crystals in as needed.

Looked in this morning to find loads of moulting skins and what looks like at least 4 males and from what I could count 7/8 females.

Will leave them in there to see if anything else appears! They seem happy enough. Will give them a clean out later I think and have a good look at what I have got.

OK. So my medium feeder tub arrived this morning and after taking out the smaller ones my beardies will eat I thought I would clean out the smaller colony.

So I have now got the following;
8 males
13 females
57 various sized nymphs. From small mediums up to pre-adult sized.

Should I take out some of the nymphs/juveniles or would they all be ok?
