Hi all
We are going to finally take the plunge at and get a Beardie, I have been reading as much info as possible but info on feeding juveniles seems to vary considerably. The main questions I have are –

How many times a day should we feed a juvenile?

How many crickets roughly do they eat a day?

How often should I give them Mealworms?

Meeee

Depends on size but at around 8" you should be feeding live 2~3 times a day and at about 15" then once daily. Veg should be available all the time and one live feed should be powdered with calcium . Our guys seem to eat 6~8 crix at a sitting but if they still seem very hungry after that number then it's OK to add some more.
Mealworms are really only a treat as they are high in fat and a bit like letting a kid loose in a lolly shop :)
